Product description

This is the first batch order dedicated to a Jaluino shield:  Crumboard shield v2.1 PCB. It doesn't include any components, this is only the PCB itself.

Crumboard shield is a prototyping shield. Usually a small breadboard is put in the center, in addition to several LEDs and push-buttons. You can find more details on this link which, as of this writing, present the previous version in details. This new version v2.1 includes 4 LEDs and 4 push-buttons, for easy and configurable intput/output. Labels have also been improved for better readability.

More information can be found about this PCB:

  • schematic
  • PCB
  • Gerber files

PCB manufacturer

Seeedstudio is the PCB manufacturer for this batch order. 1O PCBs cost $40. This batch is combined with batch order #2 for Jaluino Medium v2 PCBs. Addition of those two orders allowed to get rid of shipping costs.

Pricing information

One PCB is expected to cost $4 or 3€.

Jaluino Medium v2.0 PCB
3€$4

I'm not yet sure to be able to provide free packaging, as in previous batch order, maybe expect a little extra for foamed letters.

Following is a table showing shipping cost from France, for one board. If more than one board is ordered, shipping costs may decrease. Ask for more. Shipping can be registered or not. There's usually no problem when sending unregistered, but I'm obviously not responsible if package gets lost.

(Note: since previous batch order, french postal office La Poste increased its prices...)

 World*EUFrance
Unregistered1.75€1.35€0.95€
Registered6.05€5.65€3.75€

* shipping costs to other location than EU or France should be these prices. I checked for Canada, United States, but I didn't check every country and there might be exception when shipping to some locations. Please ask in doubt (leave a comment or post on Jaluino Group)

Payment details

I accept payments via Paypal, in Euro or US dollars. Once payment is received, I'll send the package.

Be careful: there can be additional fees when paying via paypal (as with any payment facilities...). You may have to pay a little more. But you may be able get rid of these fees or at least reduce them, for instance, if you have some money on your Paypal balance. See this page for instance or login to your paypal account. While validating the payment, make sure what I'll receive is the proper final amount. Thanks :)

Disclaimer

This batch order, and the followings, is based on some volunteers who want to distribute Jaluino PCBs at low prices. All this process requires time, energy and of course money. We're just doing our best to order and ship products, but it can take some time. Be patient. Also, please understand prices may fluctuate between the opening of batch order and the final shipping (customs, PCB manufacturer hidden costs, extra shipping fees, etc...). Finally we can't be responsible for losses by any postal services, product damages, etc... As we share the batch order, we also share associated risks, though we're doing our best to mitigate them. Thanks for your confidencce and understanding.

Hi Enzo,

I couldn't find time to update documentation, but looking at schematic, you should be able to find required components: http://jaluino.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/mainboard/jaluino_medium_v20_schematic.pdf

Looking at previous version, http://justanotherlanguage.org/content/jaluino/user_guide/jaluino_medium_build, you should be able to get on your feet as well, there are minor modifications, except for fuse for which v2.0 supports different types. Finally, please note the 3V3 voltage regulator can be: LD1117V33, LM1117T, LM1086. Jaluino v2.0 corresponds to Jaluino v1.3 version "a" on this point. See for more http://justanotherlanguage.org/content/jaluino/user_guide/jaluino_medium...

As for Crumboard v2.1, see old version http://justanotherlanguage.org/content/jaluino/shields/jaluino_crumboard, and just add must button switch and LEDs :)

Reach jaluino group in case of troubles: http://groups.google.com/group/jaluino

Cheers

Seb
